How to Make Huge WoW Gold Profits from Cooking Recipes
ByCooking recipes are quite the gold maker on World of Warcraft, especially now, in the Wrath Of The Lich King era.
Because of cross-faction trading, cooking recipes have always been a good source of gold on WoW. But ever since achievements came out, a lot of players have been wanting to buy the cooking recipes, and because some of these recipes are hard to find, they tend to go to the auction house to buy it.
The best and most efficient way to make huge amount of gold profit from cooking recipes is to set up what’s called a gold-making pipeline. This (among many other things) is what Jonathan Kenins teaches in The Massive Gold Blueprint – his top-rated video gold guide for WoW.
What do you need to do to make a good, profitable pipeline? You have to follow a few simple steps, the best thing for you to do is to buy the recipes from alliance NPCs who sell the cooking recipes that you want, and sell them to players on the horde side to make the most gold profit. Or if you’re playing on the horde side, buy your recipes from the vendors and sell for massive amounts of gold in the alliance auction house.
The best recipes to start with, are the recipes that are exclusive only to either the alliance or the horde.
Some good choices of recipes you can start with are Gooey Spider Cake, Blood Sausage, Beer Basted Boar Ribs, Westfall Stew, Redridge Goulash, Goretusk Liver Pie, Murloc Fin Soup, Seasoned Wolf Kabob, and Crocolisk Gumbo. These are all from the Alliance side.
If you’re playing the horde side, look for horde only cooking recipes like Lynx Steak, Crispy Bat Wing, Scorpid Surprise, Strider Stew, Roasted Kodo Meat, Heavy Crocolisk Stew, Crispy Lizard Tail, Hot Lion Chops, and Bat Bites.
The cooking recipes I mentioned are sold by vendors from the alliance side or the horde side, you can buy these recipes for a very low price. For example, the Cripsy Bat Wing which you buy from the vendor at 25c each, and then trade it cross-faction and sell it on the alliance side for 50g each.
Just a couple more examples are Blood Sausage, Heavy Crocolisk Steak and Succulent Pork Ribs which you can buy from vendors at a couple of silvers each, and then turn right around and sell them for 20g or more.
You will earn a lot of gold by doing cross-faction trading with these cooking recipes.
This method of cross-faction trading is something you will normally see in the Massive Gold Blueprint system. All you have to do is buy from one side, the horde side for example, and sell it on the alliance side. In order to do this, you will need to get two accounts, or a trading partner, because the auction house won’t let players trade between characters on the same account.
Start cross-faction trading by checking both the horde side and alliance side auction houses. Check if the items you want to sell are in the AH already, if they’re not, then all the better for you. You can set up your own pipeline and make a lot of gold because you know you won’t have any competition!
However, if you see the recipes that you have your eye on, up for sale in the auction house, check the prices and decide if it will be worth the time and effort to buy and sell this particular item. If a large profit is possible (20 gold or more) then go shopping with a bunch of empty bags and buy as much of each recipe as you can carry.
The last thing to do is to set up your auctions, and you’re done! Pretty soon your pipeline will start raking in huge amounts of gold for you.
